About Us
Abbey Askew
- Abbey is just awesome, but I can't write much about her. She's going to have to update this at some point. I know she graduated from ECU, with a degree in Creative Writing. She also just earned a Master's in Instructional Technology from Grand Canyon University. Abbey is currently working as an Instructional Technology Teacher for Hertford County Public Schools in Winton, NC. Prior to that, she was a 7th grade English/Language Arts teacher at Hertford County Middle School in Murfreesboro, NC.
Mark Samberg
Mark earned B.S. degrees in Math Education and Computer Science from North Carolina State University in 2005. He earned an M.A. Ed. in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University in May. Mark worked for Wake County Public Schools, where he designed and developed the SAM/SPAN application suite, then for Hertford County Schools as the Director of Media and Technology. Mark also taught math at East Wake School of Integrated Technology in Wendell, NC. Mark is now the Technology Facilitator and Media Coordinator at J.P. Knapp Early College High School in Currituck, NC.
